Hollow form

Final Tiles Gallery id=10 does not exist

I really enjoy making hollow form work. I might make a simple mold and press out forms that are then joined, or I might form a shape on a mandrel or stake.

Chase and repoussé can add another element to the dimensionality of the work.

I have applied this to work that is inspired by the flora around my studio.

Drapes derive from observations of the way cloth falls over a shape.
